Job Responsibilities
- Supervise on-duty guards and ensure strict adherence to security duties and schedules.
- Coordinate physical security measures across the company facilities.
- Maintain working relationships with county and national law enforcement agencies.
- Regularly communicate security policies and procedures to staff.
- Recommend security improvements to the Chief Security Officer.
- Inspect security posts to ensure performance and compliance with assigned tasks.
- Oversee the use and maintenance of electronic security systems.
- Conduct investigations into theft, misconduct, or other incidents and report findings.
- Ensure staff compliance with the organization’s security policies and standards.
- Organize and facilitate training sessions on security policies and approved procedures.
- Train security personnel and conduct inductions for new employees.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, fueling, servicing, and manage all company drivers.
- Prepare reports on security breaches, incidents, and investigations.
- Maintain accurate records of all security-related activities and documentation.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, Health, and Safety management systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Security, Criminology, or any related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Professional certifications such as APP, PSP, PCI, or CPP are an advantage.
- Background in the military, police force, or security institutions is preferred.
- Strong supervisory and communication skills with knowledge of security protocols.
