Job Responsibilities
They are looking for a Supply Chain Manager who will:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals to ensure cost-effective procurement and distribution.
- Source, negotiate, and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors to optimize quality and cost-efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, oversee warehousing operations, and manage stock to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Coordinate logistics, transportation planning, and distribution to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Lead and train supply chain team members, set performance targets, and promote continuous improvement.
- Analyze supply chain metrics and prepare reports and forecasts for senior management to guide strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with legal, health, safety, and company-specific supply chain policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CIPS, APICS) are advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years’ supply chain/procurement/logistics experience, including at least 2 years in managerial capacity.
- Proven skills in vendor negotiations, logistics coordination, and usage of ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle).
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Adaptability to dynamic work environments and demonstrated strategic thinking.
