Job Responsibilities
They are looking for a Cyber Security Trainer who will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver cybersecurity training in line with the training plan.
- Provide instruction to individuals or groups—students, faculty, or staff—on computing technologies.
- Conduct training sessions both on campus and offsite per schedule.
- Research and develop training materials and collaborate with the Head of Training on course outlines and teaching plans.
- Offer technical support for research and rollout of new technologies.
- Ensure training content remains current and relevant.
- Write structured programs using modern programming languages to support IST systems.
- Design testing and evaluation mechanisms.
- Maintain a supportive classroom atmosphere and foster student relationships.
- Prepare exam content and evaluate student submissions.
- Assist other instructors with lab supervision and monitor student progress.
- Address student exam queries as they arise.
- Compile detailed student training reports—including strengths, weaknesses, and placement status—for the Training Head.
- Record daily attendance and uphold class discipline.
- Stay updated with current technologies and participate in professional development activities.
- Carry out any additional duties assigned within the scope of the role.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Completion of any cybersecurity course.
- Certification as a TVET-accredited trainer.
- Ability to build positive working relationships and a flexible approach to daily tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and mentor others.
