Job Responsibilities
They are looking for a Data Entry and Verification Assistant who will:
- Accurately capture and enter asset data using mobile devices or tablets.
- Match physical assets on-site to official records in the asset register.
- Identify and document discrepancies—such as missing, unregistered, or relocated assets.
- Collaborate with site staff to obtain explanations and verification documents for discrepancies.
- Affix aluminum asset tags in line with guidelines.
- Ensure proper photographic documentation when needed.
- Submit daily progress reports to the team leader.
- Maintain high levels of data accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism during fieldwork.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in IT, Procurement, Accounting, or a related field.
- Prior experience in data entry, inventory control, stock-taking, or verification roles is an advantage.
- Proficiency with tablets, barcode or QR scanning tools, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel and operate across various locations in Kenya.
- Reliable and honest, with capacity to work with minimal supervision.
